Ridley was stuffed. He felt like if he ate anything else, he'd literally explode. As he walked, he waddled, tired and bloated from indulging himself. It wasn't crabs or crustaceans or fish that he had gorged himself on as of late. Physically, Ridley hadn't eaten any protein in... well a good week and a half by now. He didn't need it, not when his current diet was so bountiful and easy to acquire. There was just something special about the way a spirit felt sliding down his metaphorical throat as his Will consumed it at his Goddess' desire. With the spirits of the realm acting up, he'd been granted a feast far larger than he was usually accustomed to. So, he waddled from feasting on those who meant to disrupt the flow. It made him sleepy, and he was currently on the lookout for a place to catch some shut-eye with a nice peaceful sea breeze rolling in.

Ridley had passed by this area once or twice before. He'd seen the ship wreck out in the waters and though his curiosity drove him to swim out and inspect it, he resisted the urge. He wasn't a huge fan of sand and salt in his thick fur. It was the jungle parts of the region that drew Ridley in, reminding him of home. The humidity in the air, the lushness of the underbrush and trees, the singings birds and hooting monkeys and sweet ripe fruits that dangled from vines and from trees all made Ridley feel a sense of peace within himself. He missed home. He missed his siblings and his real mother, the one who had sacrificed everything so he could grow up knowing what a true parent was. He missed hanging out in her laboratory, watching her experiments and concoctions alike. He missed playing with Syrah, missed thieving from those in the pack who were too busy to keep an eye on their goods. Ridley wanted to dream of them, so he returned to the outskirts of the jungles once more, hoping that such sweet memories might bless him tonight.

It didn't take Ridley long to find a rocky ledge inland, with brush down below and a nice overhanging canopy stretched above to offer shade. A thick flowering bush grew nearby blocking him from the worst of the sea's wind gusts when they blew. It was perfect, he figured, and went about brushing off sticks and debris with his front paw before curling up into a lay. His long reptilian tail draped and hung over the ledge and down below, twitching and tickling the brush beneath him idly as he closed his eyes and listened to the songs of the ocean and jungle combined. Hopefully soon, he would fall into a sweet slumber.
