Guidebook: Introduction

Welcome to Akrasia! We are a high-fantasy, magical animal role-playing game, where canines, felines, and hyenas roam the realms of imagination. We prioritize creative freedom, storytelling, and a hassle-free joining process. We have crafted numerous automated systems to streamline your experience. Our goal is to allow both players and staff to dive into roleplay without the burden of tedious maintenance tasks. Come, unleash your imagination and become a part of our community!

Before embarking on your adventure, we encourage you to read our Guidebook for a deeper understanding of our game's mechanics and lore. Players can also ask questions and hand out in our Discord.

HOW TO JOIN

Take a moment to look through our Guidebook to get started. Once you're ready to join, you'll need to register a Player account and a Character account. We strongly advise players to completely fill out their Character account before activiting. Once your account is activated, your character stats and spells will be locked.

START A PLAYER ACCOUNT

The password to register an account is join-akra1
Players must join our discord.
Change your discord name to match your forum player name.

(Do not use symbols or inappropriate words in your player name)

Edit your profile and select "Yes" where it says "Is this an OOC player account"
Do not edit anything else on your profile.

Go to Join / Activate. Select "Player".
That's it. Your account will automatically be updated soon!

START A CHARACTER ACCOUNT

Set up a Player account first.
Register a new account with your character name.
Use the Account Switcher to link your player and character accounts. (Your player account must be listed as the master account.)
Fill out your character profile in your User CP.
Go to Join / Activate. Select "Character".
That's it. Start playing!

APPROVAL PROCESS

You do NOT have to wait for staff to approve your accounts. Simply fill out your profile, follow the joining instructions, and start playing. Staff will review new accounts behind the scenes and only contact players if something isn’t right.
