Paws carried the golden girl through the woods until she came across a glimmering lake. The water looked like it was silver, and Solveig couldn't help but pause and admire it for a bit. She'd never seen anything like this back home, and it was quite stunning. An ear flickered as she heard crunching of leaves, and spotted a herd of elk not too far from her. They didn't seem to bothered by her presence at the moment. Perhaps it was because she didn't seem interested in hunting for the creatures at the moment, or perhaps it was her own antlers that made them a little more at ease with her presence.
After staring between the elk and the lake for a bit, she then started to continue on her way through the land. The golden girl would occasionally meander back towards the water's edge, still unable to really get over how breathtaking the view truly was at this lake. This land was really nothing like where she'd grown up. She definitely was nowhere near home anymore - this sort of land feature hit the nail on the head that she was far from home and unlikely to ever see her family again.
