Welcome, all who reads this. I've been brainstorming for my character Panacea. There are a few ideas I would like to share and get feedback, whoever is interested. For those who don't know, Panacea is an African Wild Dog who has illusion and siren song magic. Her mind is crowded from hearing other thoughts and voices beside her own. She has a brain disease. I made her during 2023 and never got past character creation because life. Now I'm back and would like to continue what I started.
1. Leading up to creating a kingdom, I would love for Panacea to have a mentor who teaches her (and I) leadership (lol) I may make her a teenager if this happens so there is more room to work with and roleplay her experience. If it doesn't happen then I will keep searching for another person who is up for leadership challenge bc I am not sure if I would be able to hold it up on my own. Maybe one of her siblings...or perhaps a mate?
2. Panacea comes from Greek mythology and I would love to have some adoptables as a big family line. Panacea (in Greek mythology) has four sisters, Hygeia, Iaso, Aceso, and Aegle. The reoccurring theme with all of them are health and healing. She also has four brothers, Podaleirus, Machaon, Telesphoros, and Aratas. I was thinking this would give great opportunity for other members to jump in. If people are interested, I will be creating the adopts. It would be an awesome start for a kingdom I think! With the idea of royal family and such. I'll also be attempting to do their own art as a thank you.
3. I would love to hear other people who have been here longer and their brainstorm on how this possible AWD kingdom could play a part in the main plot. I don't have any ideas right now. I need to read more on the site and process more. Also...a kingdom name...
This is definitely one of those long-term ideas and will would happen waaayyyy far away and will need a lot of activity and threads to bring it all together. The kingdom will definitely be narrowed to African Wild Dog only. But if all fails and not enough interest then I would honestly be happy with making adopts and have a huge family unit.
4. I would appreciate help picking a surname for the family. I originally picked Adhiva, but it means "gentle" and "pleasant" and I don't think it fits anymore.
5. If Panacea sounds interesting and you would like to interact with her please respond here and I will put you on a que. If you are not on the que then I will not be roleplaying because most my threads will be read only.
