A mountain river flows into a large, stunning lake. The waters reflect silver in the day and under moonlight. A plain of gentle hills and forests surround the lake. Herds of elk are native here.
She would give a small nod affirmatively to Bermuda, “Plants, no magic. Healing with magic is a cheater's way out,” magic just isn't natural to her, “I've been taught in the trade since I was young, and have been a healer for many years. Magic is not necessary to save my patients,” she spoke simply, and as she did she'd look to his eyes, covered by the red scarf though she could tell from this distance that they were thin enough for his eyes to see through. “I take it your eyes are sensitive to the light?” came the inquiry.
Just then, the bubbling from the water would culminate, and out popped a plethora of frogs from the water, far larger than any frogs she'd seen. One of them would smack against Bermuda's face, earning it a smack across its body from Ceartas to get it off. Cautiously, the she-wolf would rise from her seat, wondering what could be the cause of this and wondering if there was a sinister play at works. She'd look around to see if anybody was controlling them. Perception roll results here.
Ceartas would then attempt to use her shepherding abilities to get all of the frogs to stop moving. If they can be still long enough, then the Duskornians could get a better moment to figure out what was going on. Because personally, Ceartas wasn't keen on putting her mouth on these things to kill them. They could be poisonous.

He had only just started to chat with the Monarchs as his ears perked at the sound of bubbles. At first, the small canine thought nothing of it. After all, plenty of members had arrived and were playing in the lake. It likely came from one of them. However, when the frogs started appearing, he realized he couldn’t have been more wrong.
“What the heck!?” he’d shout, attempting to dodge any frogs in his direction. However, it was getting harder and harder as they flooded over him. These were no ordinary frogs either; some were nearly as big as he was! As a matter of fact, a hoard of particularly large frogs was coming right towards him!
Wings stretched, Eon would attempt to get in the air in time to avoid the frogs who seemed intent on trampling him over.
Perception Roll:

Fail: Eon does not get out of the way in time, and is knocked over by a group of particularly large frogs that start piling on top of him.

With his catch in his jaws, Loch began to make his way towards the beach where the others had gathered. It seemed others were already chatting away, and he felt a bit out of place. He had just started to head towards the center of the beach to put his fish down when he heard bubbling from behind him. Quickly, Loch would turn around to be faced with a crowd of frogs. His jaw dropped, and the fish fell with a thud onto the sand. Was this a regular occurrence for freshwater lakes? Looking at the reactions of the others around him, he assumed not. The frogs came hurdling towards him, and he tried to shield himself from them with his fins.

Success: Loch successfully shield himself from the frogs, sending them flying backwards
Fail: There are too many frogs to deal with, driving him backward and further away from the lake.

Caedwyn was just starting to relax and enjoy the warm afternoon air when a strange bubbling noise began to come from the water. Probably nothing. Sometimes fish would bubble a little. He didn't pay it any mind at first. But the bubbling grew and grew. Before he noticed anything was wrong, a swarm of frogs had come jumping out of the water toward them! Not just normal frogs. Some of these frogs were huge! "Everyone, look out! Look at the water... frogs!" he managed to shout as he jumped away from the waters edge. The frogs seemed to be going after everyone, as if driven by some unusual magic. What was going on and who was doing this to them? They were jumping out so quickly, he could barely stumble back in time much less get his bearings to formulate a plan. Just as he was about to panic, some of the frogs seemed to become still for a moment. He wasn't sure who had done that, but he was thankful.
"Quick," he shouted again, using this moment of still-ness to look around, quickly assessing the situation. "Let's drive them back to the water. Help whoever is closest to you. Anyone who cannot fight should flee to the treeline." He barked out orders loudly with authority. He wasn't sure how long the frogs would remain frozen but they had to do something. Maybe if they pushed them back to the water, they'd go back to normal?

The frogs came springing out of the water, seemingly drawn to the creatures who were relaxing near the shore. Instead of aimlessly jumping around, the frogs began to swarm everyone nearby! First, a group jumped at Bermuda. A small frog landed right on his face, making it difficult to see while a group of other frogs began to launch themselves at Bermuda as well.
Ceartas had reacted quickly, smacking the frog off Bermuda's face - but while Ceartas was distracted with this, the group of frogs that was jumping toward Bermuda hit Ceartas instead, causing Ceartas to trip and smack her chin into the dirt. But, just after she falls the frogs are affected by her Shepherd spell and some of the frogs freeze in place.
Eon is able to safely take off into the air, unaffected by the frogs.
A particularly large group of frogs has begun to swarm Loch. They use their tongues to try to pelt Loch with little sticky punches. Loch isn't able to shield himself and is pushed back from the shoreline by the frogs.
Surprised by the sudden even, Caedwyn trips while moving away from the water. He is currently laying on the ground barking orders to the others.
The frogs seem unusually aggressive... as if something was causing this. Just as the members of Duskorna reacted, a huge circle of bubbles and water began to rise up in the lake not far from the shore, but out far enough where the water is quite deep. Its almost like a geyser. The water shot up into the air, sending huge waves lapping up at the shoreline and the sound of rushing water can be heard. Then, rising out of the water - the slick and slimy form rose up. Two yellow, reptilian eyes sat squarely on the side of its head... and then - WHOOSH! Water splashed as it launched out of the water, crashing down onto the beach with a tremendous BOOM! The ground shook as it landed. This would have been noticed by everyone nearby.
There on the beach was the MEGA FROG. It's form was gigantic, about the size of a large bear. Its skin held a dark slimy green and its yellow eyes darted around, eagerly tracking the forms of the disoriented beach-goers. Its mouth opened and a deafening CROAAAAAAAK bursted out. But this wasn't a normal croak. It was a shrieking, ear-piercing volume that send a force of air bursting through the air. Even the leaves on the trees nearby shook a little. This must have been what was driving the frogs. The angry beast had become enraged for some reason and had sent all the smaller frogs into an aggressive frenzy! And now, the beast had its gaze set on the members of Duskorna!

Taking some liberties with the NPC here.
The mega-croak will give 1HP of damage to everyone unless you do something to avoid it. The frog will soon begin attacking. Roll to attempt fleeing if you'd like to leave or band together to attack any of the frogs / mega frog. Don't forget to apply the -1 penalty to your diceroll if you failed the perception check earlier.
Just as the gathering started to settle and chatter amongst one another, a strange happening was stirring in the lake. Those closest to the lake took notice and spoke up just in time for Enya to look over and see a peculiar sight. Frogs were suddenly leaping out of the waters. Not one frog, or several frogs, but hundreds of frogs. "What the fuck?" she asked with sudden surprise while those gathered reacted. Like the leader he was, Caedwyn took to immediately barking orders. She observed as those gathered were swarmed and attacked. They were relentless as they engulfed Loch, and tripped Ceartas and Caedwyn alike. "Not in my home!" she suddenly shouted as she jumped forward and leapt into action.
As soon as she closed the gap between herself and Loch, she was bombarded with frogs herself. As soon as she felt them squish between her toes, her steps faltered and she stumbled forward. "Ugh, why frogs!" she complained as she tried to capture her balance once more to help Loch with his frog problem - just when a giant frog appeared in the water near them. "Oh fuck" Well, that escalated quickly. "Hey," she started as she attempted to bite at the frogs around Loch to help him free, "We gotta move. That frog might decide to eat one of us here in a second" The smaller frogs had momentarily paused and she took advantage of this to try and toss them back into the water at big chungus. Then it shrieked and the frogs came back to life as she winced from the horrible sound. "We fight!" she suddenly yelled to the gathering, "We rid this thing of our Kingdom! Let us make Tsillah proud!" It was an attempt at a quick rally call, before she turned her focus on the frog, watching for it's next move.
Roll 1: Roll for whether Enya is successful in helping Loch
Success: She manages to help get the frogs off Loch to free his movement - voids the -1 to next diceroll from frog attack
Failure: She doesn't get to him in time before the big frog shows up - loch still suffers the -1 to next diceroll
