This new world he had found himself in was vast, far greater than he could have imagined. The fact that the kingdom had claimed every inch of it thrilled him, but it also worried him. Now that he was granted the title of a noble, that meant he had to be well acquainted with the territory. At least, that's what he had come to assume. He had spent the past several weeks just scouting the land, continuously flying on his wings. God, he didn’t know what he’d do without those things.  Memories flickered back to the time one was broken - he wasn’t entirely sure how he had survived that period,  but that was so long ago now and it almost felt like a different lifetime.

He had circled the domain several times, yet each time he had managed to find something new. The sound of the falls had echoed throughout the entire tropic region, yet, for whatever reason, Eon hadn’t gone to explore it yet.  He hadn’t explored much of the tropics at all for that matter.  He was sure his familiar would probably like the region - if he could get him here, that was.  It had many trees for him to climb and explore, as he liked to do. However, the aye-aye had been left nuzzled in a small cave by Cloud Bend. That area had sparked Eon's interest, enough that he had decided to stay there as a sort of home base for the time being.

As a baby, the aye-aye had been able to ride on his back when he flew, but now the primate was nearly as big as he was.  There was just no way Eon was getting off the ground with it on his back. The consequence unfortunately meant that he had been left behind when Eon was on his travels. It didn’t worry the canid though, he knew the creature could take care of himself while he was away, and he would be back to check on him soon. - Maybe bring him here sometime in the future, even if that meant he had to walk the whole way.

The winged canine scouted from the sky above, following the falls as they declined the massive cliffs into rivers, eventually flowing down into a lake. He’d make his landing near the shoreline. Fog from the falls still encircled the area, which made it hard to see, yet Eon was still fascinated by the view. Even with the fog, and the shadowed canopy above, the lake managed to catch the sunlight on its rippling water, creating a sparkle effect.

Taking a few steps forward, the canid would come face to face with his reflection on the surface of the water.  It by far was not the perfect view, ruined by the movement of the water. However, the neon canid couldn’t help but look at himself for a few seconds. If there was anything he had going for him, it was his bold coloration.  He was beautiful, and that wasn’t something he was subtle about either. He’d rub in in someone's face the first chance he could get.
