The water shimmered and sparkled as a gold hue overtook its surface. Delight fluttered in her chest as she watched the shaky form of her brothers take form. It was blurry and hard to make out, her magic fighting her even now, yet it was enough. At the very least she could see that they were happy and healthy. Ixora's focus was so intent on the shaky images that she completely missed her name being spoken the first time. Only as her magic fractured the image like broken glass did she realize that someone was approaching her through the water.
Her head snapped upwards as her name was called and this time she registered the sound. Blue eyes widened as she found herself meeting the golden gaze of a wolf from her past. She had known he was alive, Enya had mentioned him after all. Yet, it still sent a wave of delight through her to see him again. The happiness at see him alive and well, if not determined to reach her, overshadowed any tangled emotions that the past might have held.
“It's really me, Caedwyn.” She greeted with a smile as she stepped closer to his dripping form. Leaning forward to butt her head lightly against his downright sodden shoulder. They had never been truly close, not like she had been with some of the others, but she found that she was just as happy to see him as she likely would have been with them. “It's good to see you again though I have to question your idea of going for a swim in winter.” She said pulling back with a tip of her head, warm smile on her face. It was the jungle here but winter still would hold an icy grip on some of the other areas. Drenched fur wasn't going to do him any good when he got home.
