"Uh, sure?" Came the stranger's reluctant reply, and she didn't blame her. Roxanne had never hunted with anyone but her father, and she wasn't entirely eager to hunt with a stranger either, but it was hunger that drove her on. It made her grumpy, less energetic than she usually is, "Yeah, it was some hogs," she kept the young wolf in her vision as she looked out over the horizon at their trail, "I tried to use my magic on them. It didn't work," her mouth was pressed flat; grumpy as heck.
I gotta at least try to look more friendly. Forcing the grumpy expression off her face, she turns to the wolf and says, "My name's Roxanne. You?"
