Since finding himself in there lands, Renya had kept quietly to himself. To be completely honest, he could not remember everything that had happened in his life prior to coming here. It was as if a dark cloud lingered in his mind, smothering and blocking out certain memories. There were flashes of things that he would remember or see of course but many things were never solid and always just out of grasp. It was a frustrating thing, making him feel all but useless. What if they were important?
Growling under his breath, he pushed forward with determination. He would find some way to work this frustration out of his system some way or another. It was not soon after that the calling sounds of a creature reached his ears. Blue eyes narrowed in suspicion as vague recognition tickled at the back of his mind. Creeping forward, it did not take long to find and spot the feathered beasts grouped ahead. The faint echo of a memory whispered to him, the past trying to stir up as recollection of seeing these before came to him. It was possible he supposed but there was no way to know for sure while his mind was in this useless state.
Motion caught his eye followed by the familiar scent of pack as he shifted slightly to observe another male creeping toward the birds. From his stance he is clearly hunting them though he appeared to be alone. An ache in his chest formed, urging him to move forward in his own hunting stance but he held himself back for a moment, choosing instead to observe and see where might be best to jump in if he chose to do so.
