Silver Lake
A mountain river flows into a large, stunning lake. The waters reflect silver in the day and under moonlight. A plain of gentle hills and forests surround the lake. Herds of elk are native here.

So she had come from a family of vagrants? or at least her mother had been the same. Caedwyn was thoughtful for a moment, wondering if perhaps she could be swayed to join them. A vagrant had no home, no loyalty already claimed by a Kingdom. That made things easier. But some vagrants simply rebuffed the Kingdom lifestyle and were simply unable to remain in one place. He let out a soft sigh while he thought things over. Trying to convince someone to join a Kingdom if they had already grown accustomed to a solitary lifestyle would be a challenge.

And yet, winter was fast approaching. There was also the necessity of safe passage, shelter, and food. Those were difficult to obtain living by oneself. "Yes, winter is nearly here," he said in response with a thoughtful tone. "Perhaps, there is another solution to your problem. " As he spoke, Caedwyn realized she hadn't answered his question of why she needed to go that way.

She'd mentioned her mother was a vagrant, but did that mean she was meeting up with her mother? or simply travelling?

Caedwyn didn't like making decisions without all the information but there wasn't much he could do here. "If you are simply travelling for winter, perhaps our Kingdom could offer you a safer place to stay?" he made a gamble and hoped he might convincer to join them. "Living on your own can be difficult. In our Kingdom, we can help each other so these winter months won't be so difficult. And you wouldn't need to travel all the way to Brightwood..."
