Where there are Ruins, there is treasure. It was not his first visit here, but it was his first visit here with his new contraption - a chariot of sorts, with the clasps to go over his shoulder and two wheels, but where a person would sit was instead a large box with an open top, its insides empty and lined with pelts for cushioning.

It was too heavy to fly with, so he instead carried it through the nearby portal and made his way to the Ruins from there. Just as he was exploring for loot, he noticed the sound of a conversation between two females, and decided to follow it. Wings stayed to his sides, one covering the satchel he wore, and he rounded the corner to see the culprits.

One of them was a beautiful brown and white lioness, her stature and matching horns immediately noting her as a lioness of adult interest. The other was a massive, bulky wolfess, whose stature and sheer size would normally be a turn-on for the amorous man but instead, this time, seemed to make him wary. He was keenly aware of how easily a scenario like this could turn sour and deadly, but kept his usual charming and friendly demeanor about him as he said with a smile to the two, "Hello, I couldn't help but overhear you two. My name is Matthias Kingsley, I'm a merchant and artisan. If you'd like," he'd say, tail flicking to bring attention to the chariot he carried around, "You can put what you find in here for easier carrying. I promise I'm not a thief. Merchant's honor," he would bring a feline paw over his chest and cross out his heart with a claw. How could he, even if he wanted to? The carriage would be too heavy for any flight or speedy getaway.
