His beeline towards the floating rocks was a success, but swiveling ears noticed that Urna did not follow. After taking a few more paces just to be sure, he would eventually stop on a more elevated platform and turn around. Just in time, too. two-toned eyes watches as she creates and lobs a glob of something mysterious at him. He tries to dodge it by jumping off the platform, which was barely big enough to fit him in the first place. Cloud Bend's gravity allows him to safely hover in the air, and he takes a moment to readjust his balance. It was too risky to take that hit if he can avoid it - who knows what kind of effects her venom or poison has. From the corner of his eyes, her figure moves behind the tree lines. Turning to face her, the wolf huffs in amusement. Don't wanna take the bait? Of course she wouldn't. But he wouldn't either, so he figured it was a good time to really test out the gravity fluxes here. Gabriel begins to swim in the air, paying close attention to the force of gravity as he neared the treeline. He remained high enough in the air that, hopefully, her tentacles couldn't extend so far, but the gravity was stronger the closer he got to the trees, so he swam around. Still no luck. Well, time to adapt. Still hovering in the open, Gabriel focused on where he thinks he can see her, then shoots out multiple bone spikes from his back, angling them in different directions. With enough skill and luck, at least one will hit her. Then, in a challenging, friendly sort of way, he calls out: "I can do this all day!" even if he misses, eventually he could try again, unless she comes to him. |
