Narrowed, intense eyes never left their figures even as they heated to leave. He felt satisfied having incurred a slice of pain to Shifty before it was all done. He kept his head high, gaze never leaving them and listening to Enya's final words: 'Let it be remembered that while Duskorna was described as one who promotes violence, it was Verdantis who drew first blood here today. If he had any blood to spit out his maw, he would've done so dramatically, but instead he gives Shifty a hard look, the threat made not lost to him, and responds with, "a small price to pay, vor a traitor." It would be another while yet until they off in the distance that he would look to Quinnat and the approaching Urna. A nod would be given to them both, his farewell and his thanks for their hasty arrival. |
