Cerulean Cove
A cove of bright blue water. Along the shoreline, the tides have carved the rocks into inlets and pools where the tide catches. There are many caverns and rock formations to explore here. The tide can rise quickly, flooding many of the areas without warning. An excellent place for gathering shells or hunting crustaceans.

"Just sharpenin' my blades. Can never be too ready, right?" Reed smiled warmly as Balthazar approached her and offered her some friendly affection. "I've missed ya too. Just isn't the same without my best friend around." Reed turned to nudge him with her own nose, rubbing her head against his neck. Being a vampire always left Balthazar with an odd and unique odor, and though she couldn't say that she liked the way it smelled, she also didn't dislike it. After all, when she caught it, it meant Balthazar was around.

He prompted for them to go and explore the woods and Reed had already started nodding her head by the time he ended his sentence. That sounded like way more fun than sticking around here and doing (probably) important tasks like building a home. Besides, he had suggested that maybe they could find some supplies. She was absolutely no crafter but she was an excellent protector (even if Balthazar didn't need any protecting). So, in a different way, they would still be working on stuff for the new place.

"Oh, yes yes please!" she eagerly begged as she bounced on her paws with a tiny hop to the left, then a tiny hop back to the right, and repeated it several more times. During her bouncing, she realized she was probably being a little loud, since it was night time and all. She scrunched up her face and straightened her composure, finishing the move with a quick toss of her head to resettle her dreads. "I'll be your pirate protector and you can lead us to the spoils of war" She was exaggerating, naturally, on what the mission really entailed, but it made for much better stories this way. "I might have lost my sea legs for a bit, but I'm ready to vanquish the mightiest of monsters that dare step into our way. What do ya say, Balthy? Ready to lead us on another hearty adventure?" She paused and grinned at Balthazar, her emerald eyes glittering with excitement and eagerness. She was ready, and as soon as he took lead, she would be right on his heels with a watchful eye.
