Midnight Mountains
A small mountain range known for its black colored rocks and mineral ore deposits. Many mining caves have been dug through the mountain but not all of these are safe. Bears and mountain lions guard the hills and many unsafe tunnels collapse without warning.

Try as she might, she couldn't tear the skin of the saber open. No matter how hard she tugged, it's thick fur resisted and her strength waned from the fight. It couldn't resist, however, the venom that was being simultaneously pumped into it's system. It would ruin the corpse for eating, but at this point, she didn't care. She was hurt and bruised and no sooner did she have time to celebrate the weakening of the saber as she felt it falling slack between her grip, she was also suffering a broken leg.

When the snap sounded, Enya's grasp on the saber was lost as she cried out in pain. Her yelp was high pitched, then suddenly faded to nothing as her consciousness left her. She tumbled the rest of the way down the rockface to where the fight had started, her body limp. She wasn't dead, but had simply passed out due to the sudden and intense pain that had shot through her body. Thrown off balance, the saber fell with her, position himself perfectly for Ixora's final attack. Enya didn't get to witness the perfect execution. She came back to consciousness in time to see the saber's body collapse suddenly and Ixora's form reappear with something between her jaws.

With the adrenaline of the fight still in her and her mind half-numb from pain, she recoiled from Ixora, favoring her injured appendages, and pushed herself up into a defensive sit, not yet trusting herself to stand, yet also not wanting to be laying on the ground should Ixora make a move. If, somehow, Ixora hadn't heard the snap, then Enya didn't want to give away that she was severely injured. It was obvious to anyone who looked at her, but that didn't stop Enya from trying to hide it.

Where had Ixora come from? Why was she here? Did she come with the intent to harm her? Was she a bounty hunter like the dead Saber? Was she coming to finish what she had done so long ago? Maybe she was here with the intent to do good. Or, maybe she was here to deliver a message - a prophecy. Her heart pounded in her ears and her head ached as another bolt of pain shot through her figure, making her flinch. "I don't understand" she managed to stutter, "Why are you here?" It was, perhaps, the worst sort of greeting one could give to the very wolf she had exiled so very very long ago, the same wolf who had taken her life. Panic suddenly set in as a question surfaced and overrode all others she asked internally. Had Tsillah sent her?
