Night time never bothered Balthazar much. In fact he preferred to be awake in the cold quiet hours, when mostly everyone else was asleep. It was just him and the ocean lulling at the shore.
The sounds often made him think back to childhood memories- fond ones. Like when they packed that boat to go on that winter tip.
He was laying in the frame his octagonal shaped home he had started building only a few days before. So far he has the foundations, floors and walls made nicely and firmly in place. The only real task left was the roof. He wasn't quite sure he should start construction just yet- eyeing the gardens near the house.
If Larkspur or Folke were sleeping he certainly didn't want to disturb them. So he took this time to slip among the forest of palm trees that lined the coast.
The forest was silent and cold. His breath creating small puffs of cloud with each breath he made. Balthazar's focus was on the trees around him- picking two or three that could make solid cuts.
After he cut the three trees down- some vine entangled, Balthazar attempts to activate his Telekinesis powers, in order to bring the logs home and practice his abilities.
He's so busy in the woods and trying to use his powers that Balthazar doesn't notice anything else; like the fact he was being very loud in the woods- despite how silent he wishes he was.
