The other she-wolf woke in a blind fury, "whereisshe" the female had snapped out, snatching Maureen's twig and snapping it in two. Clearly the beetle wolf was not aware of her own surroundings yet.
Maureen jumps back, ears tucked close to her head and her chin tucking closer to her throat for protection. "Where is who?" The glowing Maureen calmly asks, looking around with her eyes. She didn't see or sense anyone. "You just woke up too didn't you?" Two and two seemed to click together. The wolf would still be slumbering blissfully if Maureen had just left her be--but that wasn't her nature."I'm not sure where we are exactly- looks to be a warm hot-springs of sorts". The geysers around them shifted blowing up hot steam at the water, keeping the area warm and moist despite the cold winter that settles around them here.
"I woke up half way in the water. Took me so long to get tidy!" She sat down and started to fuss with a few small hairs that were out of place, trying to remain calm in front of the woman who seemed so angry in front of her. "With all this steam my fur will never stay down," she sighs and turns her full attention back to the beetle. "My name is Maureen-- do you know yours?" She asks curiously.
She didn't know much else at the time veing, and doubted this wolf knew much as well. "Perhaps we should explore the land here- patrol see what there is to eat-- I don't know about you, but I'm starving!" She announces loudly.
