His jaws enclosed around the slippery scales of the fish, drawing it out of the water. He hopped into land and took a large bite out of its side. The salty meat filled his mouth, Malachi swallowed happily, and was ready for more when a warning call echoed over the land. It quickly interrupted his meal. Malachi grasped his fathers skull and stuck it firmly over the top of the fish to block sunlight from heating it.
