Inhabitants of the Realm begin to notice a light growing brighter and brighter in the sky: A new star has emerged in the sky! It shines brighter than the rest with an orangish-red color. Even in the daytime hours the star is visible now. What does this light mean and why has it appeared? Rumors quickly begin to spread that this is a sign from the Cat-like God, Felis. The mystical being, Felis, has summoned his magical energy and lifted a veil within the Realm. Many types of cat-like creatures begin to appear in the Realm. But these are no ordinary felines... they have intelligence and magic and language, the same as the canines of the Realm. Soon it is discovered that some feline-beings have even been in the Realm for many years, hidden by some sort of magical energy the kept canines and felines from communicating. But all that has changed! What future awaits when these creatures come together. Will a new life of prosperity unfold? Or destruction?
Plot Summary:
A star can be seen shining in the sky through the month of September. Characters begin to discover that Felines, Canines, and Hyenas now inhabit the Realm. All of these beings have a shared language, intelligence, and magic. Feel free to do threads related to the plot or to make a character from one of our new playable species.
Young love. How sweet it is to know someone from your early days and into your later. Adir and Cahira met as cubs playing between the territory of neighboring prides. Their meeting was a secret that blossomed into friendship. Upon coming of age, Adir was naturally cast out from his pride lands, and quietly Cahira followed suit, carefully leaving her family and all that she knew behind. Alone they were not frightened but young and inexperienced. The two made their mark in a plentiful territory and opted to start their own family. Claiming the location had been one thing, but keeping it an entirely different challenge. One that earned them both stories and scars. Unfortunately with these challenges came a grave injury to Adir, late into Cahira's pregnancy. A lone male had threatened the safety of their fledging pride and he'd won the battle at the cost of his own life. The wounds so severe he was only able to cling unto his life to see his children born and help name them before passing into the unknown.
As a single mom grieving the death of her lover, Cahira is forced into a role she never imagined. Quickly her heart hardens and she becomes bitter to outsiders. Fiercely protective of her children to the point of isolating the newborns from the world. However, life had other plans for the family. Her children were starting to have a mind of their own, walking, babbling, and playing outside. At times even sneaked off from the ever prying eyes of their strict mother. One fateful evening, as Cahira dozed off into a well-needed slumber the litter opted for an adventure out from under her paw. Wouldn't you know it, the very son named after his father was in charge of the whole scheme. The cubs somehow (up to players) discovered a way into The Realm. Cahira awoke from her rest and considering the worst, searched high and low for her lost children. It didn't take the dedicated mother long to find their scent trail and follow them into the new world.
Adoptable cubs: Per the rules, no more than 4 cubs will be accepted. This will be first come first serve! Whoever is interested may snag a spot. Cub's names, genders, and appearances are up to players so long as they look related. Ofc dad's appearance is a mystery so there is freedom (he could've had mutations, etc). The cub named after Dad if chosen by anyone doesn't necessarily need to be the same exact name just similar. The name means "Mighty, Noble, Warrior" according to Google. Not all the Cubs have to enter the game right away, we can come up with something if someone else wants to fill an open spot later on. The only thing I ask is that if there is enough interest, there's at least one boy to carry the father's name! Whether that be a modified version of said name or his middle name.
