Day passed by and night drew on. Day cycled through once more and night passed by in her sleep. Day, night. Day, night. The time passed by slowly, painfully, as she busied herself away from the Kingdom. She was still out on her 'personal leave' despite how badly she wanted to return and get back to work. She scried her Kingdom every several hours to see if the Kingdom was under attack. Before her trespass, she wouldn't have thought Verdantis bold enough to harm even a flea. When they had threatened kidnapping her and attacked Shifty - a stranger - just for being there... well, they'd changed her mind.
Enya wasn't afraid of them, of course. Well, she wasn't afraid for herself, at least. She would face down the entire Kingdom if she had to, pissing on their soil as she stared them down until chaos erupted with combat. She did worry, though. She worried an unhealthy amount for her Kingdom that she wanted so desperately to prosper. They needed her. They supported her. It was her job as a Monarch of the Kingdom to ensure that they remained safe and secure. Especially since it was her fault that there was recent conflict between the two Kingdoms.
Her mind soured as she climbed and crawled around the rocky terrain of the mountains. A light snow had dusted the surface of the rocks and had created slippery patches where it gathered, melted, and refroze the following night. Her travel was slow as a result, hindered as she searched the various cave entrances dotted on the slopes of the mountains for the object of her desire: a magic imbued stone. She had no idea how to use the magic that circled within the stone herself, but she'd heard through the trees that some artisans could harness the power within and use it to enchant. She quite liked the sound of having enchanted armor.
"Though at this rate, the bones will crumble before they're used." she muttered out loud to herself as she looked around within the shallow of a cavern entrance, turning over rocks with her paws. The moss within glowed and she felt herself called to explore deeper into the cavern. She didn't follow, though. She wasn't sure what could be hidden within and she wanted a companion with her to explore it. She would have to recruit someone and return here. For now, she would resort to continuing her short shallow trips into the various openings. "Ugh, fucking Verdantis." she cursed as she curled her lip. It was their fault she'd been sent on her stupid little personal leave. It was their fault that she was out here climbing frozen slopes looking for magical rocks in the millions of cave openings available to her. She could be home in her den, snuggled up and warm with Caedwyn beside her. "Stupid Ohr" she cursed again as she kicked a rock and sent it flying out of the cave and out, down the slope.
