A valley between two mountains with forest and a river. A unique area that fluctuates between various gravity levels, allowing creatures to traverse between the ground and sky. Stars, clouds, and space dust, as well as beautiful trees and flowering plants can be found here
Her time within these lands had not been long. There was still not an excuse or reason for how she had wound up in a foreign place but she forced herself not to dwell on it for too long. Surely there had to be a higher power that had allowed this for some plan to unfold for her. It was not her place to be questioning the Gods. It was her job to listen and perform whatever role set out before her. At least, that is what her father would insist if he were here.
Still, she could not help the ache that radiated through her chest often and the homesickness that held her in a tight grasp. She could not help but to wish things were different, that she might wake up and find her coming here had all been but a strange dream brought on by consuming a few too many of the sweet flowers she so adored. Even now she found rose tinted gaze drifting skyward, searching and hopeful for a beam of light, the brilliant flash of a Star Fall. Alas, nothing happened and Roselle found herself very much in the same place as her steps paused in their progress.
Shaking herself, a girlish huff left her pink nose before she turned her gaze back downward in stubborn determination. No matter, she had a task she had set for herself. She had been graciously accepted in to one of the local packs for the time being and had a duty she had promised to them. This place was plentiful for herb searching it seemed and she had come with the hopes of distracting herself with stockpiling her collection if nothing else. She didn't have time to watch the sky and hope to see a star fall, even if that was where her heart kept being pulled. Keeping her thoughts from drifting back to home lest tears come to her eyes, she continued onward in her search.
Malachi has been traveling all over the place recently. This time he was chasing after a large rabbit; paws smacking the earth without forgiveness. It was fast, but he is faster.
With one quick leap, he's on top of the hare. His jaws clamp down on it's spine, just behind the neck and the rabbit falls limp inside his mouth. Malachi drops it. 'One down, a million more to go.' He thinks, as he starts to pull away the skin from the carcass of the hare, Now he just needed to clean it and bring it back to that hooved cat. A deal was a deal after all.
A sniffling huff will draw the wolf's attention away from skinning his rabbit, temporarily, his ears pricking to the sound. He wasn't alone here..wherever here was? Malachi scoops up his prize and starts to walk in the direction of the sound.
It doesn't take long to find the creature who sniffled. "Hello there, stranger." He starts, approaching the colorful wolf with slow ease. "Can I ask, do you know what this place is?" Because he sure didn't. speech
Thoughts of the past aside, the girl continued on. After some time she found herself pleased as she came across several herbs and plants that would prove to be useful in the near future. Gathering them up, a soft hum of appraisal left her as she continued forward, hopeful there was more to be found before she chose to return to packlands where she was calling home for the time being.
The sound of a voice caught her off guard, causing her to flinch a bit as she turned wide petal hued eyes towards the male. She was fortunate not to have acquired all of her mother's afflictions of the mind though it still became blaringly obvious at times in the way her thoughts would often wander, distracting herself from her surroundings and resulting in her losing her direction at times. "O-oh. Hello." Calm, it was nothing to be worried about this time. This man did not seem dangerous or aggressive. No need to be worked up.
Ears flicking, she considered his question for a moment. "I do not know what they call this place. I'm afraid I am not from here." A frown touched her lips, a worried expression taking over for just a moment before she sent it on its way. "However, it is quite nice for collecting herbs and other such things for healing." Grinning softly, she watched him for a moment, breathing in his scent that was foreign to her. Not a pack member then. "Are you from around here?"
The dark colored man carefully sat his prize between his feet. He chuckles softly, "I didn't mean to startle you miss!" he starts, golden k9's flashing a small smile, trying to look as non-threatening as he could; the last thing he wanted to do was scare the poor woman.
Her purple coloring was rather pretty, as were the unnamed flowers tucked neatly away in her coat.
Malachi's toughts are brought back when she speaks of not knowing what this place was or how she got here. He nods to her in an understanding way. "I've been exploring this place myself. When I got here I fell on my face into a Cavern. he finds himself laughing at the moment."The one thing I have learned is that there is magic here- called Akrasia, it can be unpredictable though..
So this land was good for gathering plants? He would have to remember that tip. Malachi always loved to learn new things. He took a close look at the plant dhe had pointed out, "What does this plant do exactly?" he was clueless and curious all wrapped up into one.
"No, I'm not from here much like you. Did you just wake up near here? another set of questions, but he was curious.
