The colored clouds were just as beautiful as the first time she saw them, a mere few days ago. Her chin lifted as she took in a breath, taking in the rainbow whisps into her lungs, as though the stardust kept her alive. There was still a lot to process for her, such a dramatic change in her life that led her to this point. The past two nights were riddled with nightmares, dark wolves circling her while cackling and wishing hexes on her. Their words were indecipherable but haunting, and then the pain came, and she would wake up.
It was early morning, the sun was just lifting above the edge of the mountains that surrounded the valley. The galaxy had settled into the stomach of the Cloud Bend over the cool night that seeped into fall. She was trying to pull herself out of the panic from waking up. She had to remind herself that she was here now, safe, enveloped in these strange, beautiful clouds.
She took extended, comfortable steps, large paws pressing into the soft earth. She wasn't sure if anyone else was awake, not that she had really met any of the other Verdantis members yet. Admittedly she had been withdrawn, but was ready to open her heart and find the love she knew was here.
"Speech."
