Tall Trees
A redwood and sequoia forest of immense size. Enormous trees grow toward the sky with interlocking branches that become like roads up in the air. Like the trees, the creatures here are of unnatural, giant size and mysterious voices seem to echo through the trees.

"thought-speak"
note: Fenwe is mute and communicates largely via her telepathy magic

A soft smile grew across Fenwe’s muzzle as she watched the young one before her practically dance with excitement for reasons unknown to her. The young one was happy about something and that in itself made Fenwe happy in return. However, she noticed there was definitely a mood change regarding her parents.

’Yeah, they’re around,’ the young one said before licking a paw and messing with her fur. Fenwe’s eyes became slits as she for whatever reason didn’t believe her whatsoever. So this little one either didn’t have parents or her parents weren’t aware of where she currently was. These were the conclusions she had come to before the little one practically vomited information at her like young children often did.

Roxanne…it was a pretty name the she-wolf noted. She also made sure to note that the girl’s father could make things float. There was also a Reed Blackpaw she mentioned who apparently could also make things float as well it seemed. Gold jewelry and a sword. She had never seen anybody of the like but she’d have to keep the description in mind for if she ever did.

“Uh…,” Fenwe began while she was still trying to process the spew of information with her eyes wide with surprise, “Um…that all sounds grand. Everyone had powers where I came from too. Unfortunately, though, I have yet to come across this Reed Blackpaw during my travels.”

Fenwe would’ve continued with her introduction but found herself interrupted by the now excited child Roxanne piping up yet again. This time asking if Fenwe could teach her how to use telepathy. The she-wolf thought hard on this for a second. She wasn’t even sure if Roxanne was capable of using telepathy. It was true she did something similar…but it wasn’t telepathy. At least that’s what Fenwe thought.

“I…uh…don’t think…” She began halfway nervous. She had never taught anybody how to use telepathy before and if Roxanne wasn’t able to use telepathy teaching her how to use it could prove to be fruitless. Or…it could potentially help her with whatever her magic was as well…they did seem relatively similar from what Fenwe had witnessed. “...I guess it wouldn’t hurt. Though I don’t think your particular magic is telepathy but something similar and yet altogether different at the same time. So my teachings could wind up not helping you at all. I just want you to understand that before starting.” Fenwe paused to make sure Roxanne understood it all.

After a few minutes, she added, “Oh…and my name is Fenwe. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Roxanne." She decided she would wait to press the issue regarding her parents until after whatever she can help this young one with. Who knows perhaps her father would even find them here and Fenwe could introduce herself sooner rather than later. Either way she didn’t want to leave this child here alone. There were too many evil things out there in this world and Fenwe was all too familiar with that.
